1. How can I avoid my water from being shut off?

To avoid a disruption in services it is necessary to have your payment made or an arrangement made by the 20th of each month.

2. What do I do if my water is shut off?

You will have an additional $50 disconnect fee owed plus your current months delinquent bill that will need to be brought up to date. You can make payments during normal business hours, Monday-Thursday: 7:30 am- 5:30 pm and Friday: 7:30 am - 12:00 pm.

If after hours, you will be required to sign an agreement form to pay the next business day before 10:00 am. The form can be signed at the police station. You will owe a $50 disconnect fee, a $50 after hours fee, and your current months delinquent billed amount.

3. What do I need to start new service?

If you are a property owner you will need to bring a copy of your warranty deed and two forms of I.D. There will be a $150 deposit required. If you are renting, you will need to bring a copy of your rental agreement, 2 forms of I.D., and a $200 deposit is required.

4. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, debit card, credit card, or direct drafts. For a direct draft, please come by and to fill out the direct draft form. You may also pay by phone via debit or credit card or pay online at www.cityofwoodward.com.

6. My water bill was more this month. Why?

An increase in water usage can be caused for multiple reasons. Common things around your home to check are running toilets, dripping faucet, sprinklers running or leaking.

7. Where to do I put my trash containers to have them picked up?

Just place your containers either by the curb in front of your home or if you live by an alley just locate the containers on your property beside the alley way.

8. What day will my trash be picked up on?

If you are unsure what the pick up day is for your location, just call us at 580-254-8508 and we will gladly give you your pickup day.

9. What if I need a special trash pick up?

If you need to schedule a special pickup for limbs or garbage, please call our sanitation department at 580-254-8550.

10. How many trash containers am I allowed to have?

You may have as many as you need.

11. Does the City of Woodward rent dumpsters?

Yes, we do. We rent dumpsters to residents by the week for $27.23 or monthly for $108.95. We do not provide commercial dumpsters.
