The Mission of the Woodward County E-911 Communications Center is to serve as the critical link between our citizens and public safety providers with the highest level of integrity. We are dedicated to supporting all public safety departments in their quest of protecting life, saving property and assisting the public. Woodward County 911 provides emergency communication services to residents and visitors in Woodward County, Oklahoma. Their primary role is to receive and process emergency calls, dispatching the appropriate first responders to the scene. They also coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency agencies to ensure a timely and efficient response to emergencies such as accidents, fires, medical crises, and natural disasters. Additionally, the center may provide non-emergency assistance, like water and sewer leaks after hours.

Woodward County 911 staff are highly trained to handle a variety of emergency situations with professionalism and efficiency. Woodward County 911’s training is certified through the Association of Public Safety Communication’s Official’s (APCO) Agency Training Certification program. The training ensures that the staff is capable of handling all types of emergencies, providing the best possible support to first responders and the public during times of need.
